Almost half the year has gone by and the rest will probably just fly by. A lot has happened since Ballarat Swap with a very busy March and April taking in Rod Runs and Swaps around Victoria. We are also busy finishing off Customer cars and getting ready for the USA Trip which will be a bit later this year. We’re also in the midst of an exciting deal which will be finalised soon and will expand our business dramatically. Can’t say much more at present but watch for an announcement shortly. Stock is a bit thn on the ground with little new stuff on hand lately. Have some to pick up in US but most presold. We have tidied up some bodies and put some good packages together , but get in quick or you’ll miss out for another year. Finally, I am selling my blue Demo Pickup to enable my to finish a V8 Demo before the rodding season kicks off in October. A good proven reliable pickup for $20,000. Refer pictures in Tin Yard. EventsOld Tin organised a Picnic on a local Dry Lake (first time empty since 1948) recently and we invited some old timey cars to come along. Had a great day and recreated some early scenes for a photo shoot. May be releasing an Old Tin Calendar soon with some shots from here to be included. Also attended the Castlemaine Rods 40th and Street Roddings 25th Anniversaries and had a great time over the weekend including the Swap Meet on Sunday. Next up is the Ballarat Road Rodders Multi Storey Car Park (the FRIDGE) Swap on the 23rd June, then Heroes in Hot Rods at Avoca in July then quiet for most of Winter. Specials"A" Model Speed GearHave collaborated with a Kiwi Hop Up guy for some A Model Speed Equipment, including twin carb manifolds, sideplates, quick change rears and other bits and pieces.
